What was the most important outcome of the event? 
  Fairbanks, AK The unveiling of the Mayor's Regional Energy Flex Plan - a 9 point plan centered around renewable energy.
  Fayetteville, AR Education and awareness of the science and effects of global warming on our region.
  Buckeye, AZ Mayor Bobby Bryant used the forum to highlight some of the actions that the Town of Buckeye is taking regarding sustainable development.

  El Cerrito, CA Knowing that we need to do way better promotion next time.
  San Diego, CA Presentations from "out of town" representatives provided a new perspective about how to address community GHG reduction. We also highlighted the new initiatives in the San Diego region and facilitated greater collaboration between various groups.
  Town Of Portola Valley, CA The Town Council considered recommendations of the Buildings, Energy Efficiency, and Transportation (BEET) Committee, subgroup of the Climate Protection Task Force. The Town Council unanimously voted to fast track all of the Design, Review and Construction Process reforms proposed by the BEET Committee. The Town Council directed implementation of these reforms by July 1, 2008

  Town Of Portola Valley, CA The Town Council adopted a Resolution in support of California Assembly Bill 32, the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006. This action followed an outstanding presentation by Stefan Unnasch, Member of the Metrics Committee, subgroup of the Climate Protection Task Force, on a pathway to achieve substantial GHG reductions.
The Planning Commission reported that they have energetically launched work on the development of a new Sustainability Element for the Town's General Plan.
BEET Committee Member Linda Yates provided a "Why Build Green" Flyer for consideration. This document will be available for public distribution and placed on the Town's Web Site. www.portolavalley.net
